I returned home on Monday excited at all I accomplished at the Winter Retreat. I'm guessing I have about 12-15 hours of sewing left on my Cattails Quilt. Ryan was a huge help unloading the car and taking my things to the basement studio while I took Mom to the OT. Her arm looked great after the treatment (a nice long massage mostly).
Tuesday was my MD appointment. So did a few household chores before I headed to Ann Arbor. The test was easy (except for the fasting for a 3:00 PM appt). Mild tummy issues that are easily treated.
Wednesday was laundry and mail catch-up day. And a meeting of the guild Quilt Show Committee tonight.
Thursday will be a trip to Macomb -- where I will hook my friend up with some local ladies who have offered to help. It will be WONDERFUL for her to have resources that drive just a phone call and a 5 minute drive away. I have felt terrible not being able to get there more often but with all the MD appointments, Ryan's schedule and my schedule -- finding free days are very hard! This will be so helpful for her... and for me!
I'm tired tonight and will be eager to get home tomorrow because then I'll have all day Friday to work on my quilt. I am so very eager to get it together so I can send it off to Molly to quilt. So very, very excited at how it is coming together!
That's it for tonight! Ready to call it a day!
